Achieve Mental Wellness with the Help of some Apps and Channels

Those three areas all contribute to our mental wellbeing. We personally use specific apps or watch YouTube videos that teach us some healthy recipes, guide us through mediation or help us workout. All the following recommendations are for free and can be used by everyone.

Here are some of our favorite channels and apps. Enjoy!



Get active!

1. High Tracks: Our local HIIT studio offers an online podcast that guides you through some classes, that you can do at home by yourself or with a friend in a park. Go and follow high studios on Spotify and get sporty.


2. Nike Training App: The Nike Training app offers a variety of different workouts you can easily do at home. You want to focus on endurance or on a specific muscle group? No problem- this app has you covered!



Cooking Inspirations

1. Kitchen stories: Kitchen stories offers a wide range of recipes ranging from healthy dishes to comfort food. You want to cook something Asian, just type it in and you will find your go-to Asian Dish. My personal favorite dish is the stir-fired Udon noodles with spinach and beef/vegan beef. Just delicious!


2. Pasta queen: You love the traditional Italian pasta? Well then, you’re right here. Follow @pastaqueen on TikTok and she will show you some traditional pasta recipes. Try her Carbonara- it’s so delicious!


3. Yemekama: Also check out the recipes Yemekama has created for us, such as the Teriyaki Salmon or the Golden Beetroot Bowl.


Reach your inner Zen

1. Wim Hof Breathing Exercise: Try one of Wim Hof’s guided breathing exercises on YouTube and release your inner fire. The breathing exercises can help create mental clarity , improve your sleep and reduce stress. As Wim Hof states himself: everyone can do these exercises.


2. Goodful: Goodful is a YouTube channel and offers multiple guided mediations. Some of those mediations are specifically helpful for stressful moments or simply to help you express some self-love. Try it out and reach your highest state of mental wellness!
